Alfaisal University scholarships are available for students who seek an undergraduate degree at Alfaisal University according to scholarship policies and conditions. Moreover, students will be assigned one of the following classifications or a combination of classifications:
Every year Merit-based scholarships will be granted partially to cover
(100%, 70%, 50%, or 30%) of the tuition, and awarded to academically
outstanding students. This is financial aid for which financial need is not
used to determine the recipients. The recipients may be determined by
students’ athletic, academic, artistic or other abilities.

Merit-based scholarships eligibility criteria:
1.2. Need-based Scholarships
Every year these scholarships will be granted partially to full scholarships
to cover (100%, 70%, 50%, or 30%) of the tuition and awarded based on the
need of the students; contingent upon the fulfillment of the eligibility
criteria initiated by the University that combines the family financial need
and the students’ academic achievements. This is financial aid for which the
students’ academic and family’s financial situation is a primary factor in
determining the recipients.

Program
Need-based scholarships eligibility criteria:
1.3. Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) Scholarships
Every year the Ministry of Higher Education provides a number of scholarships up to 30% of the total number of students in the University. These scholarships are offered to applicants who completed secondary school with an average of 85% and above, and passed the Capabilities Tests (Tahseely and Qudurat) with no less than 65%, or students who are already enrolled in the University and finished one academic term with an average of not less than 3.00 .
MoHE scholarships eligibility criteria:
1.4. Private Grant Scholarships
These scholarships are provided by individual donors and utilized by the scholarship program to fund in full or partially need-based and/or merit-based students in accordance with the criteria set forth by the private donor and in cooperation with the recommendations agreed upon the Scholarship Awards Committee.
Scholarships available under this category are granted by:
1.5. Deans List Scholarships
These scholarships are available for students who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.75 / 4.0 in the first year of study at one of the Alfaisal University colleges and they cover up to 20 % of a student’s tuition fees.
The student must maintain scholarship requirements throughout his study to sustain the scholarship. The scholarship will continue until the student graduates from Alfaisal University and will cover:
The student is not permitted to change his major without approval from the Academic Dean of the concerned college, the recommendation of the Scholarship Awards Committee and approval by the Director of the Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance.
To remain eligible for Alfaisal scholarships, student must:
The Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance may terminate the student’s scholarship on the recommendation of the department, college and the Scholarship Committee under the following conditions:
