Need-based Scholarship Applications
Form A
Form C
Send the Financial Assistance Information Forms to Alfaisal University as
soon as possible before the deadline date.
Please be aware that all e-mailed scholarship application forms require
original signatures. Forms that are e-mailed will require that the student
and parent must come to the Alfaisal University Office of Scholarship and
Financial Assistance to complete the signature portions of the application
prior to disbursement of any scholarship funds.
Helpful tips for completing your application
- Be sure to complete and submit all requested forms. In addition to
the Initial Scholarship Application Form, you may also have to submit
signed copies of all student and parent income and asset information in
the Need—Based Scholarship Application form if you are applying for any
need-based financial assistance.
- Be aware of the deadline. Missing a deadline for a financial
assistance program will mean losing an opportunity to receive student
aid.
- Complete all forms accurately. Forms with incorrect information may
not be processed and must be corrected before financial assistance can
be determined.
- Respond promptly to all correspondence you receive from Alfaisal
University or the University Preparatory Program. Failure to do so could
mean the loss of the award.
- Keep copies of all forms you complete. These copies are helpful for
reference purposes, and they can safeguard against having to fill out
new forms in the event that information is missing.
The Alfaisal University Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance will
work with you to put together a financial assistance package to meet your
needs. Although your level of need does not always guarantee that enough
resources exist on the national or institutional level, we will attempt to
offer alternative financing options to bridge the gap between your financial
need and available resources.

outstanding students, regardless of their financial need. Most merit based
scholarships will cover all 5 years of study in the College of Engineering,
College of Business, or College of Sciences and General Studies, and 6 years
of study in the College of Medicine. However, some merit-based scholarships

and the cumulative high school grade point average, and other various
criteria depending on the particular scholarship
(See eligibility criteria). These
scholarships are usually five year, renewable scholarships requiring full
time enrollment. Again, private donor and corporate scholarships may be for
lesser amounts of time if mandated by the donor.
The Scholarship Awards Committee will be the university authority in
determining student financial need. The Office of Scholarship and Financial
