Faculty Housing

Alfaisal University is pleased to announce a brand new secured housing compound with 46 villas available to Alfaisal faculty and senior management. The compound is a new development, which will be ready for occupancy by June 1st 2008.

LOCATION

The compound is located in a quiet area in the northwest corner of the city. There are views to an oasis and date farm below and the desert beyond. Nearby are the ruins of an old fortress, Old Diriyah. The distance from the compound to the university campus is 15 km/ 9 miles, with the drive being mostly by freeway. Commute time is approximately 10-15 minutes.

VILLAS

There is a choice of two, three and four bedroom villas that will be fully furnished and each consist of living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom and bathrooms. All villas also have a basement which can be used for storage, gym or as occupant desires. All villas include the following in the rental price:

ALLOCATION OF UNITS

2 Bedroom villas are available for Lecturers.
3 Bedroom villas are available for Assistant and Associate Professors.
4 Bedroom villas are available for Executives, full Professors, or Assistant/Associate Professors with three or more children.

VILLA DESCRIPTION

All villas will be stocked with the following soft furnishings: Microwave oven, Dishes: dinner plates, bowls, cups and saucers, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, kitchen appliances: toaster, coffee maker, bedding: comforter, sheets, pillows and towels.

Two Bedroom Villas

Eight two-bedroom units share a swimming pool with one parking space per unit. Units have 273 sq.m. / 2,939 sq.ft. (including the basement) and consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen and half bath, basement, small patio, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a maid’s room, washroom and utility for washer/dryer.

Three Bedroom Villas

Six three-bedroom villas, 363 sq.m. or 3,907 sq.ft (including the basement) share a swimming pool and all have a designated parking space. The villas consists of a living room, half bath, kitchen, dining area, family room, finished basement, patio, two bedrooms that share a bathroom, master bedroom with a bathroom, a maid’s room, washroom and utility for washer/dryer .

Four Bedroom Villas

32 four-bedroom villas with three different designs range in size from 404 to 465 sq.m. or 4,351 to 5,008 sq.ft (including the basement). Each villa contains a private swimming pool, driver’s quarters with a private bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath and family room, a full basement, some units a walk-out patio, a master bedroom, dressing area and bathroom, three other bedrooms with 1 or 2 full bathrooms, maid’s room, washroom and utility for washer/dryer.

TRANSPORTATION

Purchasing or leasing vehicles are recommended but not essential. Scheduled shuttle bus services are available from the compound to the university campus. For non-employed spouses, a shopping bus will take residents to shopping areas daily, based on a schedule. A school bus service is provided to and from all major schools in Riyadh.
