Research Interests:
- Dr. Abad’s current research interests include the growth of thin films
for solar cell applications, the use of SE and other optical methods for the
in-situ characterization of MBE growth processes. Molecular Beam Epitaxy of
II-VI semiconductors and metallic magnetic thin films, Optics and optical
properties of semiconductors, spectroscopic ellipsometry and laser physics,
X-ray characterization of semiconductors, electrical characterization of
semiconductors. Research on fresh water resources and the protection of the
environment.
