The College of Science and General Studies at Alfaisal University seeks accomplished faculty with teaching and research expertise in English, Philosophy and Mathematics for Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 appointments. Alfaisal University is a private, not-for-profit research university with aspirations for international recognition in education and research.

The new Alfaisal University campus is under construction on the beautiful grounds of the late King Faisal Palace in the Al Maather center of Riyadh. The University was founded by the King Faisal Foundation and is sponsored by Boeing, British Aerospace, THALES, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, and similar entities whose representatives serve on the Board of Trustees. Alfaisal University College of Science & General Studies invites applications for a faculty position in English Composition to begin Fall Semester 2010. Alfaisal University has no tenure- track system of appointment but a term-funded position. Criteria for renewal are excellence in classroom teaching, activities in research/scholarship and service to the university and/or college. The successful candidate should have both a doctorate and substantial experience in teaching English Composition courses. The candidate must be a native English speaker to accommodate our students, and a graduate of a western style university.
