The College of Science and General Studies at Alfaisal University seeks accomplished faculty with teaching and research expertise in English, English Literature, and Mathematics for Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 appointments. Alfaisal University is a private, not-for-profit research university with aspirations for international recognition in education and research.

The new Alfaisal University campus is under construction on the beautiful grounds of the late King Faisal Palace in the Al Maather center of Riyadh. The University was founded by the King Faisal Foundation and is sponsored by Boeing, British Aerospace, THALES, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, and similar entities whose representatives serve on the Board of Trustees. Lecturer Position: English

Alfaisal University College of Science invites applications for a Lecturer in English Literature to begin September 2008 or January 2009. This is not a tenure track position but may be renewed, annually for up to the five years. Criteria for renewal are excellence in classroom teaching. Interest and activity in research/scholarship is encouraged but not essential for appointment. The successful candidate is likely to have both a doctorate and substantial experience in teaching English courses. The candidate must be a native English speaker to accommodate our students, and a graduate of a U.S. university.
