Career Opportunities at College of Engineering

Alfaisal University is an independent, private, non-profit, research university comprising of the Colleges of Engineering, Science, Medicine and Business. The university was founded by the King Faisal Foundation and is sponsored by Boeing, BAE Systems, United Technologies, THALES and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, and similar entities whose representatives serve on its Board of Trustees.

The campus of the new university is situated on the beautiful and historic grounds of the late King Faisal’s Palace in Al Maather district of Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The College of Engineering enrolled its inaugural class in Fall 2008.

The College of Engineering is seeking accomplished faculty and academic staff in the following disciplines for its Fall 2010 appointments

Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Chemical Engineering

The details of the positions are as follows:

Faculty
- PhD in any of the above mentioned disciplines
- Teaching and research experience, preferably in western universities
- Strong record of publications and research funding
Post Doctoral Fellows
- PhD in any of the above mentioned disciplines
- Teaching and Research Experience will be a plus
Instructors
- Master’s Degree in any of the above mentioned disciplines
- Teaching and Research Experience will be a plus
