Dr.
Sghaier Guizani
Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering
Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Sghaier Guizani is currently an Assistant Professor at the Electrical
Engineering Dept, Alfaisal University.
He previously held academic positions at UAE University in Al-Ain & Qatar
University in Doha from 2006 to 2011. He worked in the industry for more than 10
years when he joined Alcatel Data Networks - France, & Nortel Networks - Canada
between 1993 and 2004.
Dr. Guizani received his B.Sc. from State University of New York at Binghamton,
NY,(SUNY) in 1990; M.S. from North Carolina State University in 1992 and Ph.D.
from the University of Quebec, Trois Rivieres, Canada in 2007, all in Electrical
and Computer Engineering.
Dr. Guizani is an associate editor in "Security and Communication Networks"
journal (Wiley) and "International Journal of Sensor Networks (IJSNet)"
(InderScience). Served as a Guest Editor in many Special Issues and active in
IEEE and ACM. served as a TPC member in many IEEE conferences. His current
research interests are in the areas of Wireless Communication, Computer
Networks, Computer Security, Radio over fiber (ROF) and Optical fiber
communication systems.
