Acting President.
Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs

Dr. Alan Goodridge was appointed Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Acting President of Alfaisal University in March 2007. As Provost, he is responsible for all academic and student-affairs programs.
Dr. Goodridge received a B.S. in Biology from Tufts University and a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Michigan.

Vice President for Finance and Administration

Dr. Terry Motiuk joined Alfaisal University in the fall of 2007 and is responsible for all the support services including facilities, human resources, finance, procurement, information technology, public relations, marketing, and office administration.

Prior to this Dr. Motiuk was a Harvard employee working with Harvard Medical International.

Dr. Christopher Shove joined Alfaisal University in Feb-2008 and is responsible for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Shove received his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University in 1988 with his main area of research being knowledge-based economic development.

Dr. Ala Al Bakri Ala Al Bakri, PhD, PE & Professor
Vice Provost for Accreditation and Quality Assurance

Dr. Ala A. Al Bakri joined Alfaisal University in February, 2008 and is responsible for Accreditation and Quality Assurance.

Professor Ala received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Professor Al Bakri has more than 25 years of professional and academic experience.

Ronald Bulbulian, Ph.D. FACSM
Vice Provost of Academic Programs

Dr. Ronald Bulbulian joined Alfaisal University in July 2008 and currently serves as Vice Provost of Academic Programs, as well as acting dean of the College of Science and General Studies.

Dr. Bulbulian received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in Stress Physiology with a research focus and interest in Neuromuscular Physiology.

Dr. Khaled M. AlKattan Khaled M. AlKattan
Dean, College of Medicine

Prof. Khaled M. Al-Kattan, Dean, College of Medicine at Alfaisal University and Consultant and Head Section of Thoracic Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. He was a graduate from King Saud University 1983, got his FRCS from Edinburgh with a gold medal in 1988.
