STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION

Wednesday 25 April at Alfaisal University

PURPOSE:

One of Alfaisal University`s priorities is competence building by helping to develop a student`s intellectual abilities through involvement in focused research that address strategic problems of concern to the country and the region. The “Research Day” is being held to strengthen the vision that research is indeed one of the missions of Alfaisal University. Students may present their summer activities/proposals/ future programs.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any undergraduate student currently enrolled at University.

ORGANIZING COMMITTEE:

Theo Goosen (Chair Org Com, ORG), Mohammed Fnais (ORG), Hassan Rajab (CoM), Ali Khraibi (CoM), Alex Kouzmenko (CoSGS), Edreese Alsharaeh (CoSGS), Bill Lathen (CoB), Abdulmajeed Mohammed (CoE), Zhao Yong (CoE), Mohammed Alowayed (Student Affairs), Nourah AlSadoun (ORG).

AWARDS:

Awards will be given for the three best undergraduate student posters.

DEADLINES:

Wednesday 15 February 2012 submission of abstract (200 words or less), and completed application form.
Wednesday 7 March 2012 notification of accepted abstracts.
Sunday 22 April 2012 students put up completed posters.
Wednesday 25 April 2012 judging and awards presentation.

12:00 PM   Coffee & Snacks
2:00 PM     Awards Presentation
