Role
The office of public relations takes care of developing relations with local
and international universities, bodies that are related to the university’s
educational and operational processes; It cares for Alfaisal University’s public
image, on and off campus. It also runs the process of designing promotional
material, contacting media when necessary, and creating outreach programs.
Communicating all University activities and research findings to the public,
media, and donors for promotional aim.
Key Responsibilities
- Advice to Alfaisal University staff on promotional opportunities for
courses, events and activities
- Production of Alfaisal University news periodically in print and on the
Web
- Media management, including news releases, targeted media plans and
media liaison
- High school liaison, including representing Alfaisal University at Saudi
careers markets, school visits and hosting tours of the Alfaisal campus by
school groups
- Development and management of the University's School Partners Program,
a loyalty program for high schools
- Production of the Alfaisal University Science, Engineering and Medicine
Study that provides insight into the attitudes held by students and
professionals with respect to science, engineering and medicine and explains
the factors that influence the choices of prospective students.
- Manage advertisement and other media relations including general press,
TV and radio.
